Find Drew County Recent Arrests

Drew County recent arrests start at the sheriff's live inmate feed. From there, the trail branches out to the court or records office that holds the file you need. A booking on the roster may come with a mugshot. The sheriff posts no photo for every arrest and keeps no permanent online archive. Someone arrested in Drew County could be in processing, in custody, or released. That person may also have been moved to state prison or booked somewhere else entirely. Each of those outcomes points to a different search path. Match the situation first. Then pick the source.

Following Drew County Recent Arrests

Every new Drew County booking begins with the Drew County Sheriff's Office Inmates Feed, the official roster the sheriff runs inside the OCV jail application under Jail Information. The jail's own description says people arrested in the county are taken to the Drew County Jail and Detention Center for booking. So the feed answers one question: who is in local custody right now. It is not a tally of every arrest. A person booked and quickly released may vanish from the current view, and an arrest that never led to detention there may never show up at all.

The county publishes no separate 24-hour feed and no multi-day blotter. There is no fixed posting hour and no stated retention window. What follows are two search paths, not two county databases.

The 24 Hour Arrests page covers the same-day check, while the Arrest Log shows how to rebuild a wider date range without a public archive.

WindowBest official pathWhat it can establish
Same dayLive sheriff roster, then sheriff or jail phoneWhether a processed person is currently visible in local custody
Several daysDefined Arkansas FOIA request plus Search ARCourtsBookings beyond the live view and later case activity
After transferArkansas VINE or Arkansas DOC searchCustody notifications or a sentenced prisoner's state profile

For a same-day arrest check, start with the 24 Hour Arrests page. It walks through the freshest Drew County bookings. When you need dates further back, the Arrest Log explains how to reconstruct a range without a county archive. Together they cover both ends of the timeline.

A roster entry is a starting point, not a finished case file. Names repeat, so compare every identifier before calling it a match. Court records carry the disposition. The sheriff's feed only tells you who was booked.

Arrested Last Night in Drew County

A brand-new Drew County arrest may not be anywhere online yet. Transport, fingerprinting, photography, and data entry all happen before a roster entry becomes useful. The county promises no timeline for those steps. Note the time you checked. If nothing matches, call the sheriff's 24-hour line at 870-367-6211 for a custody answer. Say "not found in the visible roster," never "not arrested."

Once custody is confirmed, the VINELink Check tracks one person. It also sends release or transfer alerts. A court search will trail the booking, since filing and first appearance come later. News pages and commercial sites move at their own pace. Trust each timestamp only for its own record.

Note: A 24-hour phone line is no guarantee. An online list may not name every arrest from the prior day.

Search the Drew County Jail Roster

The roster is a JavaScript application. Block scripts in your browser and you may see only an empty shell. That shell says nothing about who is actually in the jail. The public OCV manifest confirms the dated-looking roster.php address. It is the genuine Inmates Feed. The sheriff publishes no fixed field layout. Read whatever columns the running feed displays when you search. In short: check the fields live, not from memory.

Field to inspectHow to use it
Name or aliasCompare spelling and other identifiers; a name alone can match the wrong person.
Booking numberUse it in calls and records requests when the feed supplies one.
Booking date and timeKeep it separate from arrest, filing, hearing, and disposition dates.
Charge as bookedTreat it as the intake label, not a conviction or final court result.
Bond or custody fieldVerify live status with the jail because terms and release can change.
Image or placeholderAttribute only a displayed official image; absence does not prove no photo exists.

Open the official sheriff site, pick Jail Information, and select Inmates Feed. Write down the date and time. Compare every visible identifier before assuming a match. If the app stalls, try the sheriff's mobile app or the direct roster URL. Call the jail for urgent custody questions. Send a narrow written request for a past booking.

The roster also mixes custody types. Pretrial detainees sit alongside post-conviction inmates awaiting transport, plus temporary holding and separate male and female units. A current entry does not mean the arrest happened today. A disappearance from the feed can mean release or transfer, not that the booking record vanished. The official Drew County roster capture source shows the application readers must use.

Where Drew County Arrests Appear

No single screen follows an arrest from start to finish. The roster answers who is in local custody now. Arkansas VINE adds status alerts across participating systems. Search ARCourts tracks the case itself, Arkansas DOC covers state custody after sentencing, and news or commercial sites are secondary aids that can run stale.

Monticello Live and South Ark Daily keep Police/Legal sections. Neither promises complete or same-day arrest coverage. Busted Newspaper, RecentlyBooked, Mugshots.com, Arrests.org, and America's Top Mugshot republish booking records. They are not custodians of anything. Arkansas has an Arrests.org hub, though no stable Drew-specific page exists. Always start with official sources.

Note: A third-party booking photo can stay indexed long after release, sealing, or a correction to the official record.

Drew County Recent Arrests by City

The city tag on a news story or copied record can mean residence, arrest location, or the arresting agency. It does not pin down the booking county. Keep that distinction in mind with all three local search paths.

  • Monticello Recent Arrests covers the municipal police, UAM Police, county jail, local courts, and news sources centered in the county seat.
  • Wilmar Recent Arrests leads with the county system because no official Wilmar booking feed was located.
  • Tillar Recent Arrests explains why the town's Drew and Desha County split must be resolved before a search.

The county jail answers for everyone arrested in the area. Its official page says people taken into custody are transported to the Drew County Jail and Detention Center. That makes one county roster a sensible check for Monticello, Wilmar, and Tillar bookings. A place name alone, though, does not prove the person was accepted at that jail.

Inside a Drew County Arrest Record

State jail standards spell out what a log should hold. Demographics, arrest and confinement times, and release time all belong in it. The reason for confinement belongs in it too. So do felony or misdemeanor status, the officers involved, and warrant or commitment data. What Drew County actually releases can shrink, though. Exemptions, redaction, how the record is maintained, and the scope of a request all shape the answer.

Record fieldWhat it means
Name and identifying dataThe person recorded at intake; compare identifiers to avoid a false match.
Arrest and confinement timesSeparate stages that may not share the same timestamp.
Booking or inmate numberA local reference that helps staff locate the right event.
Reason and charge descriptionThe charge maintained at booking, subject to later court change.
Bond informationThe recorded term at that point, not a promise of release.
Release date and timeA field that may show the local custody endpoint if maintained and public.
Booking photographAn intake image when maintained and releasable; online display is not guaranteed.
Booking
The jail intake process that creates the local custody record.
Bond
A court-set release condition, not a judgment of guilt.
Disposition
The court's outcome, such as dismissal, acquittal, plea, or conviction.
Sealing
A legal process that restricts access to a qualifying record.

Drew County Mugshots and Booking Photos

Does a Drew County mugshot come with every booking? Not always. The roster may show an image or a placeholder for certain entries. The sheriff's office posts no written promise that each person gets a photo or that photos stay online for a set time. A blank space just means the view shows nothing there. A narrowly scoped FOIA request can ask for a publicly releasable booking photograph. That works if the jail maintains one. Juvenile, sealed, expunged, investigative, security, medical, victim, and other restricted material may be withheld. Some of it may be redacted.

An Arkansas DOC photo tells a different story. It belongs to state custody, not the county booking stage. The official state inmate search runs on fields like ADC number, county, and name. Facility, sex, offense category, age, and race also work as fields. Some profiles add a state-custody image, receipt date, classification, sentence history, and eligibility data. None of that mirrors what the Drew County roster showed at booking.

The Arkansas DOC search page lists the fields used for sentenced state custody.

The state screen covers DOC inmates only. It appears after admission. That step takes time. So it won't show a same-day Drew County booking.

Request a Drew County Arrest Record

No booking-record form appears on the sheriff or jail pages. No local fee schedule or photo rule appears either. Arkansas FOIA lets requests move through whatever channel the custodian provides, and it generally allows recovery of actual reproduction and mailing costs. The Attorney General describes a general response period of up to three business days, subject to the law and the circumstances. Even so, that period is no promise of a full log or every photograph.

  1. Identify the person, a narrow booking date range, and the arresting agency if known.
  2. Ask for the publicly releasable booking record and photograph, if maintained and releasable, plus booking number, times, charges as maintained, bond, and release time if public.
  3. Send the request to info@drewcountysheriff.com or the jail administrator at drewcountyjail@yahoo.com. Mail can go to 210 South Main Street, Monticello, AR 71655.
  4. Ask the custodian to cite withheld portions, provide separable nonexempt material, and give an itemized estimate before costs accrue.
  5. Keep the response, then compare the booking facts with Search ARCourts and the final disposition.

A statewide history search costs extra. Arkansas ARCH charges a separate $24 nonrefundable fee for it. ARCH is not the county booking source. It does not replace the jail request. Confirm any local amount with the custodian rather than guessing, since nothing is posted.

Arkansas Arrest Records and Removal Law

Openness is the default under Arkansas FOIA. The Arkansas Attorney General's FOIA guidance says records reflecting public functions stay open unless an exception applies. Access has privacy limits, though. A custodian may withhold or redact material that is juvenile, sealed, expunged, investigative, protected for safety, or otherwise exempt.

Arkansas Act 450 targets private sites that sell booking photographs. It regulates publish-for-pay behavior. It does not create an automatic takedown rule for the sheriff's official record. Government-held arrest records answer to FOIA, not this statute.

Act 450 offers a removal path for pay sites. Under Act 450 of 2021, codified at A.C.A. §4-75-102, a qualifying written request must identify the person's name, date of birth, arrest date, and arresting agency. The site then owes a free receipt channel. It must remove qualifying material within five business days. Charging for that removal is banned. Busted Newspaper, RecentlyBooked, and Mugshots.com also publish free, documentation-based correction or removal channels.

Sealing works through the courts instead. Start with the court disposition and the ACIC petition and order forms. Eligibility turns on the offense and the result. ACIC says processing can take up to 30 days after a signed order is filed. Then hand the order to the official custodian and to any publisher still showing stale information. Skip anyone demanding payment for a free removal. A search engine's outdated-content tool can change only an index; the source record survives.

Older records follow a different route. The Arkansas State Archives holds Drew County criminal records from 1931 to 1932, kept in a historical Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation collection. That material is history, not a current arrest feed. Modern booking requests still go to the sheriff, the courts, and state systems.

Note: A missing record may point to a lawful restriction, an expired live view, another custodian, or a spelling problem rather than no event.

Drew County Warrants and Most Wanted

The sheriff's app has a Most Wanted channel, but its official content sits as a placeholder rather than a list of active names. The legacy wanted.php address lands in the same JavaScript application. No public Drew County warrant-search portal exists. Nor does an active-name roster, reward schedule, or posting cadence. A quiet screen clears no one of a warrant.

Use Search ARCourts to pull public warrant-related case events. Then contact the sheriff or the 28th State District Court for the proper verification route. A name-only docket match may be another person or an old case, so a lawyer can advise the named person on resolving the matter through the court. Never approach someone you think is wanted. Send immediate safety tips to law enforcement. The sheriff's Submit a Tip feature is a reporting channel, not a public warrant database.

After a Drew County Arrest

An arrest in Drew County is only the first step. Booking happens at the jail, but the court work follows its own track. Misdemeanor and traffic cases mostly land in the 28th State District Court. Felony filings go through the Drew County Circuit Clerk. Search ARCourts covers both courts statewide. The portal filters by participant, alias, case number, citation, date, case type, county, and court location. Its docket shows the sequence of events after the arrest. Certified or complete copies still require the clerk.

Read the dates in order. Arrest, jail confinement, first appearance, filing, hearing, and disposition can each carry a different date. Arraignment is the early hearing where the charge and plea process begin. A bond event addresses release conditions. Disposition is the result that closes the case. The Search ARCourts page displays the official statewide case-search interface.

Search ARCourts interface for Drew County arrest case dispositions

Start with the Drew County filter. Add the court that fits the case. Then follow the docket events in order rather than stopping at the first charge reference. That first entry is rarely the final word on how a case ends.

Drew County Custody After Transfer

A sentence to the Arkansas Division of Correction moves a person past the local roster's main role. The county booking record stops being the trail. The Arkansas DOC locator shows a state profile. Some inmates also get an official photo there. Admission and processing take time, so a person may appear locally before DOC lists them, or drop off the Drew County roster before appearing in the state system.

Federal custody runs through other systems entirely. The Bureau of Prisons locator finds federal inmates by register number or name fields, with no county booking photo gallery. The ICE Online Detainee Locator works from an A-number with country of birth, or exact identity fields, and publishes no photo. The U.S. Marshals Service offers a FOIA route for records. It has no general public locator. Arkansas VINE covers none of these federal agencies.

The custody chain is simple. Arrest, county booking, local roster, court process, then release or transfer. The custodian of the record changes along the way, so asking the right office beats forcing one name search through every stage.
